What type of shoes does my child need for school?
Please send your child to school in shoes that do not tie. Buy pull on, zip, or velcro type of sneakers or tennis shoes. It takes too long for the students to tie their own shoes and valuable teaching time is lost. We change shoes every day for PE. Please buy these types of shoes for PE and to wear to school. Sandals, clogs and flip flops are not safe shoes for playing on the playground equipment.
May my child bring birthday treats to school?
Sorry, but we do not allow the children to bring birthday treats. All birthdays are celebrated in the cafeteria on the first school day of each month.
May my child bring toys to school?
Please do not allow your child to bring toys to school. The school
provides all toys and learning manipulatives.
May my child bring a video to school?
Please do not send video tapes to school. We are very selective about the
materials the children watch.
